Today Carter, Cheyenne (my niece), my mom, and I went out adventuring. We went to Irvine Regional Park which is a very nice park founded in the late 1800's. It's massive and has really old shady trees and an abundance of wildlife. There's a lake and stuff too. So anyway, we saw several peacocks which roam the park, a rabbit, a billion squirrels, a turtle sunning himself on a rock in the lake, and ducks and stuff. The kids enjoyed running around exploring the park while we waited for a few minutes for the zoo to open. Once it did we had a lot of fun watching the black bear climb his tree and sit perched up there for awhile. It was really cute! We saw all the other animals and had a nice visit and then went to see Kung Fu Panda. Carter liked it and he found a stuffed panda animal that my mom has and has been carrying it around and making it do kung fu the rest of today. We hit the pool after the movie and it was absolutely great! The water is PERFECT! So that's what we are up to. No idea what we are doing tomorrow but I'm sure it'll include the pool!

Sounds like a very cool park. I wish we had something like it here.
